Getting Rid of Wasps

The Common and German wasps are the two most commonly found wasp species in the UK and the ones responsible for causing painful wasp stings.

We all enjoy the warm summer weather with longer days but with the warmer weather wasps are out in force and here we explain how to get rid of Wasps for good!

Discovering wasps in your garden is frustrating and getting rid of wasps can be very dangerous. If you discover a nest be careful as Wasps inside the nest will feel threatened and can often become aggressive. This could cause them to sting you and others as they defend their nest and young.

Wasps have been known to attack in numbers once the nest has been disturbed. Therefore it’s important that you don’t just jump straight in and remove the nest. Instead you should treat the nest alongside the nesting wasps themselves.

A single nest can contain up to 7000 wasps at a time and up to 30,000 wasps in a year and wasps will continue to build their nest throughout the summer months. Once a nest has been discovered, It’s vitally imported that you contact a Pest controller immediately as a single sting can be extremely painful and in some cases result in Anaphylaxis shock.

To reduce the risk of stings arrange for a professional wasp nest treatment. We provide wasp removal services to eradicate wasps and wasps nests from your property.  With Same Day Call Out we’ll tackle any wasp problems so you don’t have to.
